The starting point was the use of rich media in place of the traditional flat PDF files as well as to provide industry insight and explanation that was not specific to Drillsearch but created engagement with the oil and gas industry. The aim was to provide a platform that facilitated the transition to online shareholder communications and replaced the more expensive paper-based media.
The main challenges were:
- Update and redesign the previous Drillsearch website look and feel.
- Update the technology platform.
- Migrate content to the new platform.
- Update the content on the site to be engaging and comprehensive, including video and social media.
- Create useful tools and features for shareholders including a conversion calculator.
The client was particularly happy that:
- Bullseye worked with Drillsearch to confirm their requirements and content plan.
- The design remained consistent with their logo redesign and carried their style over to their digital brand identity.
- New tools were redeveloped both in-house and with third-party licenced functionality.
