OUR APPROACH
  • Re-skin the BeCurious website in line with the ski theme. 
  • Create a competition for two to win a winter holiday in British Columbia to help build the database of users interested in British Columbia.
  • Create the Tourism British Columbia Facebook page to allow interaction and conversations to commence.
  • Develop Aussies Love British Columbia promo page on Facebook to house the competition and registration which was I-framed from BeCurious into the promo page.
  • Online display, PPC search and launch eDM.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
  • Facebook delivered extremely well delivering ~25% of traffic through supportive ads. It has been seen that 46% of those who clicked on the support ad, travelled to the BeCurious website after they finished registering.
THE RESULTS
  • In the first two weeks the campaign delivered 815 new members (+700 from last campaign).
  • Time spent on BeCurious site ~2 mins which is great for a competition based site.
  • 80% of users who entered the competition also opted into to receive further marketing communications.
  • Upwards of 2,850 have liked the Facebook page.
