In order to capture the interest of potential students, as well as create a personal connection with them, it was necessary to update the functionality and the look and feel of the Future Students area of the USQ website. To define the requirements, Bullseye provided the following consulting services:
- Conceptual modelling to outline how USQ could engage future students through interaction online.
- Research into the needs of future students and requirements of USQ.
- Presentation of a validated and prioritised set of elements and experiences Recommended new site structure (IA
- Wireframes that illustrated look and feel of user experience. (These wireframes were used by USQ’s design agency to develop conceptual designs).
- Recommended configuration of Sitecore Online Marketing Suite (OMS), including metrics.
The consulting outcomes assisted Bullseye to build a model for behavioural targeting, which assists the university to form a relationship with the prospective student during the recruitment period. Bullseye also implemented tools that gave USQ a greater understanding of the potential student’s objectives and goals by mapping the prospective journey through the site and establishing assumptions based on these interactions.
