Bullseye partnered with Starlight to create this microsite. The site was designed around the concept of a Christmas Tree and stars.
When someone donates, a new star is placed on the tree with that person’s name, and the total is updated. The target is $650,000 in donations in order to grant over 100 wishes prior to Christmas for seriously ill children and their families.
As well the site is integrated with Starlight’s social media channels and links to their various Christmas Cards.
Starlight’s Marketing and Campaigns Manager, Kouhei Steele says: “This project enables us to break away from traditional fundraising, to embrace on-line and to access a different demographic”
Corporate businesses and other organisations can decorate their own branded tree - setting their own fundraising target - encouraging their staff to contribute to make a difference quickly and effortlessly.
Starlight are also happy that the playful site illustrates the spirit of Christmas – giving individuals and corporate businesses the opportunity to share touching stories and offer support to the foundation during the festive season. The site also links in to Starlight’s social media, as well as messages from VIPs and inspirational stories about Starlight kids.
